City Workshop: Teşvikiye Project

Teşvikiye

The Inspiration
The Logo
Colors: I chose 3 colors to form the visual identity of this project. I chose one shade of yellow, one shade of black and one other shade of light grey. I selected the yellow color due to the strong presence of Taxis in Teşvikiye area. As for the black color, i selected it because black color gives fancy vibes in general, which is what i felt about the area when i first visited it. and finally i chose the light grey due to its existence on the side walks.
Typeface: Neo Sans Regular.
It is a simple font and fits the fanciness soft vibe of Teşvikiye. It corners are softly rounded, not too thick and not too thin.
Pattern: Inspired by the form of the side walk's ground.
The Map: This is a map that can be replaced in different corners of the area. It aims to make it easier for the visitor to find the important places of the area.
Teşvikiye Store Signboard: ZARA

Teşvikiye Shopping Bags
Teşvikiye Street Signs
Street sign (Sokak): It doesn't differ much from Istanbul's regular street signs. But the color identity of the project was used because Yellow is an attention grabbing color. This was the visitor's eye will catch the sign quickly.
Pictograms: The grid system.
Pictograms are formed by sharp shaped and rounded corners.
